For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a storyteller. Whether that’s long-winded stories swapped around a campfire or recapping the day’s events to a loved one, there’s something powerful about telling stories and sharing experiences.

I was born and raised in Carnegie, PA – a suburb about 5 miles outside of Pittsburgh. I’m a proud graduate of Carlynton High School (Go Cougars) and Point Park University (Go Bisoneers). While at Point Park, I edited the Point Park University Globe and served as general manager for WPPJ-AM.

I left Pittsburgh for my first professional job as a newscast producer at Erie News Now, the NBC/CBS affiliate for Erie Pennsylvania. While there, I produced live coverage of the Tall Ships festival, several investigative series, and the 2021 Emmy-nominated Presque Isle Centennial documentary.

Eventually, I jumped at the chance to head back home to Pittsburgh to produce for WPXI-TV. Over five years there, I spearheaded the re-launch of the iconic 11 at 11 brand, supported the 11 Investigates team, and produced Pittsburgh’s top-rated 6 p.m. newscast—earning an Emmy, PAB, and Telly awards along the way. I was a shop steward with SAG-AFTRA Ohio-Pittsburgh Local and served on the negotiating team that earned WPXI producers their first union contract.

Now, I’ve brought that fast-paced newsroom energy and editorial background into the world of strategic communications, serving as a Communication Specialist at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit supporting local school districts through External Communications.

Outside of work, I’m proud to serve on the board of the Andrew Carnegie Free Library and Music Hall in Carnegie. I am a member of Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE), and—when time permits—building out a custom stained glass workshop in my garage.

I consider myself a data nerd, a designer, and someone always trying to figure out how the world works.
